oppe opppe there go the crazy americans again ! Good old “house hunters international” have this couple from the usa moving to Belgium…on $750 a month. And they expect the world but of course, they are American. The realtor says they might have to settle for a studio sized apartment, and the couple says….” a small studio is do- able probably a lot smaller though for what we americans are used to in the states.” Then she says “its different here, every one walks or bikes, back in the usa everyone drives everywhere.” She says that so innocently like it is an anomaly to see humans in physical action. I love this show ! For one I love seeing all the neat places in this world to live and what it would be like if you wanted to visit or move there but secondly it is watching Americans being, well American ..clueless.

Now not all americans are clueless don’t get all bent out of shape thinking I’m putting my country down. But some movers are a little bit outside of reality, they must watch a lot of cable. Anyway do you think HGTV scripts some of these people? Because seriously they can’t be that ignorant to what things cost and how much to expect for x amount of dollars. I can’t quite believe how many americans think for 800$ a month they think they can get 3 rooms a nice kitchen a yard ect. ect. Most apartments in the usa don’t start being nice until you reach 1,500$ a month!… This has to be scripted! (laugh- laugh- laugh) and age and intelligence isn’t a factor so its not a young thing nor an older thing.

I love to watch “where in the world” with House Hunters International. But………… The people on it from the usa all say the same thing, “this is smaller than what we americans are used to–we were expecting something much bigger-we americans all have big …(fill in the blanks)”…

I am soo sick of ignorant people talking on behalf of me and all the rest of america that would like them to shut the heck up and talk for themselves! Like tonight’s show-this army guy from is re-stationed to the Azores. Now no human on earth can dispute the beauty of this island and all would agree that its paradise is something that all americans (if your not into real nature your mostly likely made of robot parts and this doesn’t pertain to you) would give their arms (metaphorically) just to wake up too for a week. You would think this army guy who’s been overseas and in the army ( I choose to believe the government would want the brightest and most broad-minded people to keep the country safe and would know a thing or two about foreign living and foreigners in general-iiiiiiiyaaaavehhhhhh!!! For one foreigners aren’t all walmart *&%^mongers needing one on every corner to prove they are a”1st” world country nor do they need 200 inch TV’s in every room plus a separate bedroom for each kid and/or an extra wing for the babies room. These people have 1,500 $ a month to spend and they want a large bedroom for their xking sized bed, a garage just for their motorcycle, house for their dogs (kidding but just barely) room for their piano and extra large this and that- ect ect. My last few apartments cost 700 to 1,000$ a month and that got me No view, No mountains, No waterfalls, No parks, No ocean, no Forest , no little shops to walk too no short distance commute to work and on top of that I could reach out and touch the neighbors!

This couple won’t shut the heck up about “this is so small. these appliances are so much smaller than what we americans are used to, the light sockets are not standard american —ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

Ohhhh did I mention these places the fed up realtor is showing them is in the AZORES???? Terceira AZORE !!!!and these are HOUSES not apartments she is showing them for 1,500$ a month!!!

Americans-! your totally furthering ruining (is that even possible to do?) any hope for us normal people living in america who want to have genuine -true-real-down to earth relationship–heck just to be welcomed with a genuine smile from foreigners when we step off of the plane onto their country-would be great!!!

So please downsize your big asss ignorant snot nose, humble yourself and get educated about the places you want to live in, cause honeys america is only one country in many and we ain’t no king/queens of this world we, WE, all SHARE!!
