What Our Purpose in Life is About

Adam and Eve in the Garden

By no means is this an in depth account of the history of Christianity,or a thorough descriptive guide of everything that’s comprised in the words our Lord has said that will lead us to salvation found in the Bible (the only guidebook for life). I’ve written a brief outline (and will write with further examples and explanations soon) about what our purpose in life is and because of what happened in the beginning, what is Gods plan for our life right now.

God created earth. He created a perfect world. Originally this was to be the perfect world. He made it perfect, sin made it imperfect. He created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.(Genesis 1:27) His gift to man this amazing, magnificent beauteous world filled with inumerous priceless substances that would sustain and fulfill every need a human could have He gave freely without discrimination and without any requirements or a passing of rigorous tests to receive His gift.

Surviving was as easy as breathing. Food was only but an arms length away. Rivers flowed through lands filled with gold and other precious stones.God didn’t just create and then leave us alone either! The God of all desires a personal relationship with us; He walked and talked with them in the garden. How awesome is knowing that our Lord, our King and Creator desires a personal relationship with us! We can’t even get our chief of police, mayor or state senator let alone the president of the USA to come over for diner!

Man would never toil a day. They would never be sick or know what obesity and diabetes was nor of every other disease birthed by mans feeble attempts to replace already perfected nourishment’s. No concept of sorrow or neglect, of pain or frustration. Not one single life would be shattered from strain caused by working for societal institutions. No one dying attempting to fit in, keep up and live up to another humans meaningless expectations.

This extraordinary gift came but with one command from God, just one. Yet even after God personally brought every beast and bird to Adam for him to name, gave him rule over the birds, fish and every living thing on earth, gave him every plant and tree on earths surface yielding seed for food, with all the privileges bestowed upon him by God(Genesis 1:28-30); Adam and Eve disobeyed Gods one command; You shall not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:17)

Why we wonder would anyone give up paradise. Now one of the awesome gifts Gods given to His creations is free will. He doesn’t want mindless robots serving Him. And with the freedom to make personal choices Adam and Eve unfortunately sinned, falling for the craftiness of the devils lies. (Genesis 3:6)

consequence of sin

Unfortunately this is something each one of us knows only too well how the devil ceaselessly seeps lies into our subconscious filling it with doubt, temptations and all kinds of suggestive possibilities that cause the mind to create false reassurances; whisperings proclaiming that the act or decision in question, that if executed, the results really won’t be that bad. And We’ve seen what happens to people (it’s happened to us in one form of way or another) who have(something) a life most would give their left arm to be living, everything seems perfect, their spouse, their job, their finances, just everything and then they do something soo foolish (and seemingly out of character) to destroy it all.( ex. the immensely blessed king David fell to great sin and reaped severe consequences 2 Samuel ch. 12) That decision made? Didn’t come from God!

Adam and Eve leave Eden

And God cursed man and drove them from the garden. (Genesis 3) Now man is outside of paradise and evil rules over the world (1 John 5:19) walking around on it too and fro (Job 1:7) like a lion seeking to devour us. ( 1 Peter 5:8)

But God is a loving God! He could have given up on us.He knows the intent of the hearts of men are wicked from youth, for we are all born from sin. (Genesis 8:21) So God is creating a better paradise for His children. This time the only inhabits will be from His children,of those called and from them, those who love Him with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind.(Matthew 22:37)In this paradise only pure light love exists. But His invitation is open to all.
Yet not all will answer Him, not everyone’s heart will be opened. Not everyone who proclaims Jesus Lord will be saved.(Matthew 7:19-23)

God commands His children repeatedly do not be conformed, enticed, fooled, manipulated into following man (1 John 2:15)for he foolishly and blindly chases everything fleeting exerting, toiling and sacrificing everything scurrying around to achieve the dreams of fame and fortune and self fulfillment…all for the commons mans concept of success which always proves meaningless. What luxury and riches on earth can compare to those in His kingdom? What what will man do except what has already been done? (Ecclesiastes 2:12)

Can the the wisest or richest people, governments, kingdoms, institutions, corporations or family members love, provide for, protect, rescue, strengthen and renew our life, even by one ounce compared to that of the love, power, glory, grace, healing and perfection that is our God? No one and nothing can even come within a thimble size comparative.

So what do we do here on earth if all we do is in vain? Well life is lived in vain only if you are living for man. Living for God is our purpose. We follow and obey His word, which far more easy than people think and it requires of us the same as anything in this world requires; sacrifice, commitment and obedience. As we mature in Him, which comes by reading His word (all the time Psalms 1:2-3) we will be strengthened, renewed and become fruitful. The effects of change will be positively help others as we share of the message and love that is Jesus Christ and how He has worked in and saved our life.

How do we thrive in this chaotic dyslexic world? We live out our life by Gods way, by the written word He left for us in the Bible and within our hearts. We do this from the strength He enables within us to perform in full measure ,every power He’s given to each of us. We pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)for guidance and understanding. We give praise to the Lord constantly through the good times and especially in times of tribulation.(Psalms 34:1)

Lord will send a Helper

We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill us and guide us to lift the veil to truth and make the road ahead straight.
(John 14:26) When we sincerely seek Him our life will begin to change. With determination to live in truth and to realize patience of persevering in this life toward the goal for the prize of the the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14) that is, an indescribably more magnificent life than one can dream in reigning together with Jesus in His kingdom… then the self created hindrances, obstacles, frustrations, anxieties and worries of life implemented and imposed by mankind….will vanish. And everything becomes clear.

Jesus takes our burdens

Every person has a calling. But we who call ourselves Christians share in the same destiny. That is whatever we are gifted with we use it in work for the glory of God not man. We use our gifts and by example of our life to spread the message of the Good News and the love of Jesus Christ.By God’s strength and with the gifts He’s given within us and through knowing His word we help bring others to the Love of Jesus Christ to be saved, healed and set free, living a life of peace and separate from the crisis of the world that daily saturates every life. We live our best for God and not that for which is convenient and leisurely. We endeavor onward for the prize of eternal life and glory with our Father. And living in truth and strength for Him with the best of each of our ability.

Praise be to the Lord our God!

  1. One statement is enough for a mature and evolved spirit to understand the immortal importance of a sentence, of a written line, due to its indestructible invaluable content that teaches how the spirit should act to develop the inner God, or to turn into Spirit and Truth, or to realize in it the teachings of the Bible – YOU ARE GODS.
There are people who devour books, searching for religions, sects and banners, listening to the incarnate and the discarnate, but they do not change inwardly and do not really blossom… They are like mediocrity that goes around the PERFECTION, without ever reaching it…
The Exemplary Word warned these people, by saying: “The Kingdom of God is inside each one, it does not come with external signs.”
Therefore, those who do not know how to LOOK FOR THEMSELVES, and have not FOUND THEMSELVES yet, will have to search high and low, hovering unhappily, in the kingdom of emptiness and painful doubts.
An old initiatic saying teaches: “The good disciple awaits doing good.”
The Exemplary Word also taught: “Upon your patience you shall build your souls.”
These abstracts say to the immature, to those empty spirits: “Learn how to run to your inner self, because it is there that God has placed His Divine Virtues, which, when blossomed, will make you a TOTAL ONE, GOD IN GOD, BECAUSE NO ONE WILL BE CHILD OF GOD ETERNALLY.”
However, let us remember these wise words: “One word to those who understand it is worth a whole speech to those who do not understand it.”

All the best. With love, Neil.
